We Want It: 3 Ways to Observe National Sunglasses Day

You're probably already celebrating. You just don't know it yet.

Not that you needed a reminder to protect your eyes from the harsh summer sun, but the people who decide when to schedule things like International Ninja Day and Ball Point Pen Day have decreed that June 27th is National Sunglasses Day.

Luckily, there are three recent happenings in the world of eyewear that we're excited about. The first is our guide to the best sunglasses for summer. (That's where the image above comes from.) If you haven't read it, we highly recommend it.

The second is Prism Eyewear's collaboration with Disturbing London, seen above, which launched this month. In the past, the brand's frames have been mostly unisex, but this marks the first time they've tailored a pair specifically to a man's face. You can find them online or in Prism's Chiltern Street store in London.

And finally, if you're looking for something that you can customize, there's Seneca Eyewear. This brand, which will launch online on July 2, lets you pick both a frame material and a lens color in its online store, making it that much less likely that you'll run into someone who's wearing the same pair of shades. Nobody wants to deal with something that awkward on a holiday.
