We Want It: Custom Sunglasses From Garrett Leight

The possibilities aren't exactly endless, but boy are there a lot of them.

As endearing as it is to find out your friends have taste that's as good as yours, it's an even better feeling knowing you own something no one else can get. Which is why Garrett Leight's new Mod Shop has us so excited.
The online store-within-a-store, which opened up earlier this summer, lets you create your own custom version of one of five styles the brand produces. You can select the acetate for the frames and the color of the lenses, and there's even an option to take the shine off a pair of frames and turn them matte. So if you've always dreamed of having tortoise shell sunglasses with reflective pink lenses, the Mod Shop is the place for you.
Prices top out just north of $400 (but that's if you turn a shiny frame matte and pair it with polarized lenses), which is a small price to pay for the comfort of knowing you're not likely to run into anyone wearing the exact same shades.
