There's been an not-so-subtle shift away from the slimly tailored suit in recent seasons, and Dries Van Noten's Spring 2015 show in Paris—which was inspired by the world of dance—took that to heart.
That was evident in a number of pieces (leather flats with elastic straps, for example, that looked like ballet dancers' shoes), but especially in this suit, which is tailored with an ease that allows for a range of movement you wouldn't see with slim-cut trousers and high, skinny arm holes. And maybe, even if you're not a member of the Paris Opera Ballet, that's not a bad thing.
