Although most Germans would scoff at the fact that this schwarzbier contains fruit (this style of beer is defined by its absence of fruit), Wild Wolf Brewing Company bucks convention by adding strawberries during primary and secondary fermentation for a noseful of strawberry shortcake and a chocolate-covered-strawberry finish—the complete opposite of what you'd expect from the beer's black color and tan head.
