The Best Waxed-Cotton Jackets

Durable, breathable, and stylish, the season's best outerwear is ready for tough conditions—meteorological or otherwise.

August 2010 Issue

Over the decades the multistep process has ben refined, yielding jackets that can endure road burn, thorn pricks, torrential rains, and—as their continued popularity shows—the test of time.
