The Winter Suit Primer

Admit it—you're tired of those lightweight, light-colored, two-buttons you've been wearing since spring. Now that cooler weather is here, you can get into suits with a little more heft and a lot more character.

October 2010 Issue

Tweed

Today's tweed has a more refined finish than its scratchy predecessor, but it's just as dashing, especially when cut as a slim double-breasted and paired with a chambray shirt. No matter what, though, no bow tie.

Suit by BELVEST ($3,495). Shirt by FRED PERRY ($110). Boots by DOLCE & GABBANA ($710).
STYLING BY EUGENE TONG. GROOMING BY JOHN MCKAY AT DE FACTO FOR REDKEN FOR MEN. STYLING BY JASON GLEDHILL AT HALLEY RESOURCES.
