It isn't easy to improve on an icon, but that's what the folks at Converse have done with their classic canvas Jack Purcell. To celebrate the shoe's 75th anniversary, they've recast it in leather and added some traditional broguing. The resulting pair can proudly anchor a suit or provide a smart complement to jeans.
