A spate of boutique spots are opening just in time for the Olympics. Here are the best-looking places to stay.

July 10, 2012

Coming Soon: ME London
Neighborhood: Covent Garden
Expected to open: September 2012

Swank factor: The hotel, the fifth location of the Spain-based company's string of hotels, was originally set to welcome guests shortly before the Olympic Games, but delays have pushed the debut to September. The 157-room tower, designed by Foster + Partners, features twig-like FLO table lamps in every room. A black marble corridor wraps around the 9-story central atrium. Inside the mostly white, light-bathed suites are finely lacquered cabinets and back-lit onyx shelves. The pièce de résistance: Floor-to-ceiling windows allow for unobstructed views of architectural icons like the London Eye.
