The Ritz-Carlton, Moscow
During a diplomatic trip to Russia in the summer of 2009, the President and his family checked into the tony Ritz-Carlton, Moscow. At the time, this five-room suite—with stunning Kremlin views seen through floor-to-ceiling windows—went for $13,000 a night. The coolest detail? Pravda reported that "There is a special room in the bathroom, where the US president will be able to enjoy a tropic shower." (We think they mean tropical shower.) A nice touch during those nippy Russian winters. Other amenities include a grand piano, Russian imperial-style furniture, a library, a sauna, and Acqua di Parma toiletries.
Room rate: $16,800 per night
