Cincinnati-based Ampersand modeled the scissored legs of its Bundle table on a midwestern icon: the wheat sheaf, which adorns the Ohio state seal. That crisscrossed arrangement, held in place by a Corian top and support disk, also happens to keep the table from collapsing.
